Fashionable, historic, unique living
We’ve been Miller & Rhoads residents for 7 years and have lived in 3 different apts. We love that we live in a historic landmark ... with all the amenities you don’t get anywhere else; things like an indoor pool, hot tub, a fully-equipped fitness center, large, modern community area, and a restaurant and bar on the 1st floor of the Hilton hotel. There’s also assigned parking in the underground garage so we never shovel snow or get rained on. Each unit is uniquely designed and square footage is ample. Add in the downtown lifestyle with walkable neighborhoods, restaurants, and being in the heart of the legislative, financial, arts, and educational districts, and it’s pretty awesome. We also can’t say enough good things about the management team here. Dillon, Kimberly, and Justin take good care of all of us here and we consider them our friends. The kind of personal attention they provide and the integrity they exhibit is what you hope for when you choose where to live. This place is very special. I moved into Miller & Rhoads Residences two years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. It is a great, centrally ... located place to live downtown, within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. The price is reasonable, and I feel the residences offer excellent value—especially with the added convenience of being connected to the Hilton Hotel and having access to its amenities. My only minor concerns are that the parking garage is somewhat dark and dingy, and a few of the common areas could benefit from updating. Aside from that, I truly love calling Miller & Rhoads Residences home. Dillon and Kimberly are always attentive, responsive, courteous, and professional, and they help make living here a wonderful experience. Been living here for about a year and cant recommend it enough. Not only is the building beautiful and full of history but ... theres charm everywhere. As an out of stater this the exact kind of spot i wanted to be in. Everyones friendly, theres cute restaurant all around, very walkable location. Having lived here for several years, I can confidently say that I would look forward to spending many more years here. The ... staff is absolutely amazing, with a special shoutout to Dillon! When I was searching for apartments in the area, no other place made me feel as comfortable and welcomed as Dillon did when I first came to tour. That first impression really made a difference, and the great experience has continued throughout my time here. It’s also really nice to have access to amenities like the pool and gym. Great experience living at the Miller & Rhoads Residences. The 24 hour maintenance service is huge plus which is not something ... you normally find in apartment living and is great to have, and the leasing office team consistently provides excellent and friendly service. One of the biggest advantages is the safe and secure parking garage exclusively for residents, which is very hard to find in downtown Richmond\. I also love the convenience of having access to shared hotel amenities while still enjoying the comfort and privacy of an upscale apartment\. I have lived in M & R for three years. The amenities are better than most buildings in RVA. I love having access to a pool ... and gym. Justin keeps the building very well maintained. Dillon is a gem. The location is perfect. It's in walking distance to so many great neighborhoods, has easy access to trails and the bus system. So many great restaurants in this area too. I've been a resident for almost 10 years and it is a nice location to live. It's really nice living next door to the hotel ... for when my out of town relatives come to visit. Everything is pretty much in walking distance - shops, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. My only complaint is the person above me that is apparently operating a bowling alley 24 hours a day. Note - I have never heard my upstairs neighbors until May 2022 and I've been in the same until since 2015. It's not the unit, it's the neighbor. Other than that, it has been a nice place to live.
